okay I'm about to go on my rant about how I feel about dragon ball evolution. which wasn't evolved or anything it was just u know... crappy. It spits in the face of everything dragonball. aside from giving u this advice to not pay money to go see it and maybe not go get a not bootleg of it to save a few bucks I'm giving u a spoiler alert now.

Okay that movie was complete gabbage, gabbage not garbage it doesn't deserve the justice of correct spelling. the plot in general was bullshit and everything they changed about the story was wack and unnecessary.
Goku starts off as a 17 year old in highschool who gets picked on and... cries in the first 10 minutes of the movie. Goku doesn't cry its shown in dragonball gt that he doesn't cry and FOX had to go and fuck that up. Him in school in general just throws me off a lot because goku was never in school. i gave that a pass just to see where the story would go even though he's supposed to b a strong dummy.
Then Piccollo kills grandpa gohan which is kinda whack because I wanted to see the giant ape 2 step on his old ass but na. and b4 i forget piccollo has zero moves he uses in the actual series. watching this movie is not like dbz at all its like smallville with more money and careless directors as well as actors. Piccollo only uses telekenisis and his antennas aren't out anymore he has them wrapped on his head some funky way. hey and did i mention he speaks with a fruity european accent. nothing against the Europeans but why the hell does he talk like that? he's supposed to have a tough guy voice not sound like mr.bean. I wanted to see some stretchy arms, coning, maybe an appearance from tambourine and drum but hell na'll he's bullshit. and his reason 4 getting the dragonball is freeing oozaru who helped him take over planets or something 10 thousand years ago so he could take over earth. but then when goku confronts him about the dragonballs and the oozaru wish he says that he is oozaru and goku turns into it... WHY IN THE FUCK DID U COLLECT THE DRAGONBALLS. who the hell lures someone in with a wish that they don't want 2 use in the first place. and wouldn't it be less retarded to just wish that he had taken over the world in the past and oozaru was still kool.
piccollo has a transforming female friend who kicks a little bit of ass but... why the fuck is she there? where's tambourine and drum at? why the hell does he have a transforming patsy but plar and oolaf are nowhere to be found. Wacarnolds.
Anyways Goku's all about trying to get with chi chi who i have to say is admitedly cool and sort of resemblant to her character on the series.
Bulma's acting is sad and she talks like a pornstar. Shes all action though which I sorta liked . but beind that theres nothing else. whack.
Yamcha was a pussy. Yamcha use to be a hard thug back in the day. bangin on goku and Bulma with rocket launchers, stealing their stuff and sneaking peeks on Bulma. He can't even fight in this 1. wolf fang fist was thrown str8 to the side and left to die.
Master roshi has hair and u never see the locs on him. he does grab bulma's butt a little but lets keep it real Roshi's supposed to make Bulma go mardi gras on his ass 4 that dragonball.
oh yeah did i mention that oozaru is about 6 feet tall. scary looking and cool as hell but he's supposed to be 20-30 feet tall and firing huge blasts out of his mouth. and why the hell does he do everythink piccolo wants him to do. maybe piccolo has some kind of psychic power or something, i don't know but dude gay.
The eternal dragon is fuckin tiny. u remember the old eternal draon that was huge and like a million football fields long. yeah he's about 100 ft long now. Way to fuck up, fox.
the fighting is the overall worst thing in this movie. i heard the name stephen chow and I just thought its going to be awesome. he's the producer not the director folks. the fighting is closer to a smallvilles but with jumping and guns. the kamehameha is whack. big enough to light a candle on fire and when launched theres no quakes or ground cracking its just there. there isn't 1 real dragonball fight in there and i'm not sure but i don't even think he used the power pole.
most of the characters are absent in this movie. plar wasn't there, oolaf wasn't there, chaotzu, tien or even ox king and there is not the slightest mention of krillin. wtf is dragonball without krillin sure he was a little goku but weaker but dammit he was a g and the whole reason Goku had a vendetta against piccollo and his goons.
if you're not a hardcore dragonball z fan u might like it but i h8ed it, bye.
